About us

This website’s goal is to be a hub for everything related to the Digital Fairness Act. Our hope is that this project becomes a valuable asset from journalists, academics, policy makers, and interested citizens in order to make sense of this upcoming regulation. We aspire to be as neutral and unbiased as we can. To achieve this goal, this project is independent from any public affairs consultancy, NGO, federation, or EU institution. It is currently maintained by James Tamim and the European Digital Policy Institute (EDPI). The EDPI is an informal organisation that promotes great research, events, and news on EU digital policy.

James Tamim
EU Digital Policy Analyst

I am a British and French EU Digital Policy analyst with a master’s degree in European and International Public Policy from LSE. I have published articles on EU policy, from the emergence of Data Protection Norms in Europe, to the GDPR’s Brussels Effect, and Weaponized Interdependence.

Teaching the world about complex EU regulations is a long-time passion for me. This is why I have created and maintained Wikipedia articles on the DSA, AI Act, and DFA. I hope this website, like my Wikipedia contributions, will help millions of people navigate and understand this salient regulation.
